an afternoon of coffee and 19 individual frames it was sortof a "show us what you can do" for a game developer who needs 8bit/ pixel work/ animation. I'm working on the project for them right now. They seemed to like it.
When I'm not in class yeah. It's an indie development project. A mystery adventure game in the same vein as Clue. (With pixel art graphics) And an artstyle like this: [link]
I can (and have) done work at around a 30px square! I can't post most of the stuff because its artwork/ sprite-work part of a game that's in development right now. But I should be able to in the future (with the right permission).
That said, if you want to see something specific, I do occupy my free time with the occasional side project
I'm just teaching myself C++ at the moment, and I'm making an application using the console to 'paint' individual pixels. Then I'm using those paintings to illustrate interactive text games.
Unfortunately, the screen width is about 30px, so it can't hold much detail.
Would you be interested in a copy of the program if I get it working? It's basically coloured ASCII which you can operate using the arrow keys and space
but the light and its animation is very much great!
How well do you think you could draw on...say... a 30x30 grid? I really liked the preview image for this picture.

Thank you!!!
